Personal Development

Personal development is moving from A to B.

Personal development is not only being better to something, acquireing new competances or learning new ways of behaving. It is not only moving from A to B.

Personal development is also to extricate yourself from somthing you are tied up in. If you are giving up or slacking an old way of doing or thinking, which don’t lead to anything good, it is personal development.

Maybe it is not the usual way of thinking of personal development, but don’t forget it.

Are you saying “I am going to do more of this and less of that”, and doing it, it is personal development – and you are getting on with your life.

When I looked for some eBooks on personal development, I found White Dove Books.

I like the way Will Edwards is running his internet business. Take a look for yourself.

Note-taking and note-making

It is important to realise the difference between taking notes when you for instance participate in seminars or are in other situations loaded with information you want to save and to make the notes for later use.

Sometimes notetaking is writing a lot of information while (trying to) listen, and later make the notes of the material you want to save.

Sometimes you don’t takes note, but make them on the spot. Are you familiar with mind mapping you probably know what I am saying here.

This post is inspired of a blogpost by Robert Plank. I suggest you read his point of views after attending a seminar.

Here is the link to his blogpost: Always Write a Report About What You Learned.

After reading and deciding what to do in the future, please return to the ressources of this blog.
